The MSB product range is based on the unique non-chaotropic chemistry of STRATEC Molecular. The MSB technology is the fastest way to purify DNA fragments: binding to a membrane is achieved in extremely low salt concentrations and no washing is required. The bound DNA fragments can be eluted directly after binding – a two-step procedure of revolutionary simplicity!
MSB products have been developed for PCR or cDNA reactions, restriction enzyme digests, or other enzymatic reactions. The recovery of DNA fragments from 80 bp up to > 30 kbp is superior. Furthermore, the final elution volume can be as little as 10 µl.
